CONCEPT
The global economy is shrinking and can expand into outer space or a virtual world. Therefore, Iwane Research Group chooses to expand the market to the virtual world. This can be achieved by creating a 3D virtual world i.e. "Another Earth" linked to the real world by copying the reality in the form of Omni-directional spherical image and using the CV technology as a 3D map. "Another Earth" extends infinitely in multiple layers over time. Users of “Another Earth” that participate in developing content are government agencies, universities, companies, and private firms. A wide variety of "Another Earth" is that it’s less expensive, fresh and changes in real time. Iwane group will build a complete platform wherein virtual economic zones will be created and people can participate, get benefit and receive feedback from these economic zones.

Graduates with a B.S. in Physics from The Department of Humanities And Sciences, Yamagata University.
April 1966
Joins as Research Assistant at the Research Institute of Applied Electrical Sciences, Hokkaido University. Conducts research in Data Processing Mechanisms of the Human Ophthalmencephalon, Band Compression of Television Signal Transmission and 3-Dimensional Television Systems.
May 1978
Quits Research Institute of Applied Electrical Sciences, Hokkaido University, to enter the private sector. Continues research and development with collaborators.
April 1979
Establishes Iwane Laboratories serving as President and CEO. Since then researchng in imaging and 3D technologies.
