The Omni-Directional video is distributed in Streaming on Web Browser, liking with WebMap. The 3D coordinate of the point clicked on the video image is calculated in real-time and it allows to measure the 3D distance and put Tags like photos. It's possible to build various kinds of Web sites by the combination with other Web services using the WebALV SDK.

Machine Map for Real-time Image Positioning

"Machine Map" is a 3D vectorized map for machines, not for human. This Machine Map can be automatically made by 3D analyzation from the original omni-directional video image. The high accurate calculation of the position and the posture of the camera which can not be done by the usual method like GPS can be achieved by comparing the real-time image with the Machine Map. In addition, the objects and information implemented in the Machine map can be overlaid in the real-time image at high-accurate position. (e.g. AR, Real Image Car Navigation)

The whole Computer Graphic is successfully made from Aerial Video and Road Video by CV Integration technology. This technology is Only-one technology which was developed by ourselves. There is no other way to combine the CG from Aerial Video and Road Video consistently.

The real 3D contents from arbitrary point of view can be made from PCCI.

Stereovison PCCI

When the PCCI is made from the real video image, the real 3D contents can be made freely at the same time as the 3DCG is processed.

User can configure the arbitrary camera path, point of view, parallax, convergence. The amount of viewpoint can be also set freely, therefore not only the binocular stereoscopic but also the multi-viewpoint image can be made.

Using the CV value of the real image, the 3D contents can be made on the same camera path as the original video image. The possibility of PCCI has been expanded.

3DCG automatic generation from real image -3D PCCI-

  • The polygon and the texture can be acquired at the same time from the images directly by using our CVTechnology.
  • User can obtain three-dimensional coordinates directly from the image by clicking a point on the image.
  • The detailed polygon and the textures are generated from all surrounding video image captured not only from street level imagery but also aerial imagery.
  • The matching between the polygon and the texture is perfect and the coordinates accuracy and the reality of 3D CG are substantially upgraded.
  • The range of 3D CG broadened further because of cost effective methods of making such 3D CG.

Iwane has released Active Link Vision™ (ALV) for ArcGIS®, which runs with ESRI's ArcGIS (specifically ArcMap™) In ALV, 3D geospatial video runs inside the docking window of ArcMap with each frame linked to geographic coordinates. ALV provides real interaction between 2D and 3D environments; users can do measurement, add computer graphics, and tags, and store information in a geodatabase.

  • Data Extraction tools now exist to provide the mechanism to perform the extraction and normalization of textual data from single sources (360 degree Video data).
  • The user can populate and categorize the features according to a specific domain (i.e., concept) that has been pre-defined and managed in the form of layers.
  • All the features like Carriageway, Earthworks, embankments ,Bridges, Footway/cycle ways, Other highway structures, Street lighting, Drainage, Signs, Traffic Signals, Road markings/studs Safety fencing, Verge and landscaped areas can be populated.
  • Existing GIS data can be populated inside the Video, visualized and managed.

Digitization

  • Digitization inside the Video, which is a unique feature, has been released by Iwane Laboratories, Ltd. With the help of this tool which is built-in ALV for Arc GIS, one can digitize the feature object in the form of line, polygon and point features.
  • The drawing tools are provided for making the lines network and digitization inside the video will reflect on the Map as a 2D feature. Highly accurate street maps can be created by using the Digitization feature of ALV for Arc GIS.

Asset Information

  • The integration of GIS and asset management functionality in "ALV for ArcGIS" gives municipalities a distinct advantage in tracking, locating, and managing assets by making critical functionality easily accessible.
